Dear Friends;

The officials in New Orleans are disputing over whether the city should call in the National Guard for help with dealing with the violence. There's being an outburst of violence. We want to really keep New Orleans in our thoughts and prayers, as well as Chicago. Please take a moment to contact the city officials in both cities and let them know about Save a Child Month. The killing must cease.

I want us all to do our part in spreading the word about January 2012. There's been over 400 murders in Chicago alone. I haven't receive confirmation from Chicago officials about the city recognizing Save a Child Month, but I won't give up. I believe we still have time to get these cities on board. I have had contact with the Mayor of Charlotte's office - and I'm optimistic that Charlotte is on board. If you are uncertain about your city, state, or town, please get with the local officials while there's still time.
